Emergency Services

Is it an Emergency?

We offer emergency services and transport within a 2 hour radius of our sanctuary. These services are available 24/7. 


Determining whether it's  an emergency or can wait?

-Severe bleeding

-Halt to labour, or been in active labour for an extended period of time without any births

-Unconscious

-Poisoning

-Major injuries or severe bleeding

-Extreme pain or distress

-Heatstroke

-Bloated or distended abdomen

-Staggering or poor coordination

-Puppies or short haired breeds (depending on the temperature)


Non Emergencies that can wait 

-Placement

-Puncture wounds from a bite

-Quills (depending on the severity)

-Hungry

-Limping
