In March of 2025 NTDR became a registered and incorporated Non Profit Organization- and since then our growth has been rooted in structure, accountability, diversity, and community collaboration.

Grounded in Community
Outside of our partnerships with Northern Communities, we are committed to reducing the over population of dogs in Meadow Lake, and surrounding areas.
Providing a minimum of 12 free spay or neuters to community members within the Meadow Lake area. Meadow Lake has always had a stray dog problem, and we are committed to helping reduce it by offering reduced barriers for our neighbors.
One of the reasons NTDR sees strong adoption success is our commitment to after-care support. We won't disappear once a dog leaves our care. By offering one on one training guidance, behavioural support and on-going communication, we help families work through challenges early-which significantly reduces the likelihood of dogs being returned. Even if at the end of it all, if you don't feel like your dog was the right choice, we will always take them back.
