We work in respectful partnership with Indigenous communities to enhance public safety, reduce dog overpopulation, and improve animal welfare through collaborative, prevention-based programs.
NTDR is committed to reducing barriers in the communities in which we work. This includes delivering dog houses, food programs, spay, neuter and return programs, monthly wellness clinics, and emergency services
Please note we are not open to the public as we are a foster based model rescue.
NTDR has the operational capacity to enter into structured 6 month to 1 year agreements, with northern communities seeking long-term accountable dog-management support.
Services within these contracts include:
Emergencies
-Females in heat
-Humane Seizure of aggressive or at-risk dogs
-Vulnerable puppy and injured dog pick-up
Support Services
