Northern Transitional Dog Rescue is an Indigenous founded and culturally-led Non Profit Organization. We are committed to delivering culturally led, community-driven, and sustainable dog-management solutions across northern Saskatchewan.
We work in partnership with Indigenous and Northern Communities to enhance public safety, reduce overpopulation, and improve animal welfare through collaborative, prevention based programs. Our goal is not to simply remove dogs, it is to help build safer, healthier and self-sustaining where people and dogs can co-exist responsibly.
We are a foster based organization. As part of NTDR's structured and responsible dog-management model, any dog removed from a contracted community is subjected to a standardized intake and assessment process prior to placement into a foster home.
