Why adopt from NTDR: The perks of course!

All dogs are fully vaccinated

Dogs old enough are Spayed or Neutered, puppies will be paid for once they're old enough.

No pressure contracts, we offer 14 days trial periods, foster opportunities, and if a dog still isn't the right fit we will take the dog back.

Training oppertunities as well as 1x1 trainer assistance.

Not sure it's the right time to add a dog (or three) to your life? FOSTER! Some dogs need a quiet home to heal, others maybe need to learn to trust humans, you can be what a dog needs. By fostering you open up more space at the Sanctuary so we can help more dogs! When you foster, we provied you with everything you need, food, beds, crates, toys and support!

Fostering Information

fosters are the backbone of rescue

When you foster NTDR provides everything you need, crate, food, toys, one on one advice for training and medical concerns. We ask that all foster commit to a minimum of two weeks of fostering.

Short Term Fostering

Fostering saves lives!

Without fosters, we aren't able to intake vulnerable puppies and injured dogs that desperately need saving.

Eryn and her children often take on new nursing mom dogs and their litters. Eryn is a busy stay at home mom, and likes the option of short-term fostering. That way the kids can learn some responsibility, while not getting too attached. Kind of like a teacher who takes care of them but always gets to send them back at the end of the day haha

Longer Term Fostering

Fostering is the backbone of rescue work. Without you we don't exist.

We never like to leave dogs in fosters for too long. We pride ourselves on being able to move dogs relatively quickly. The longest a dog has been in foster care is months.

You can always let us know your end date fostering a dog and we are happy to make arrangements and move them by the agreed upon date.

Everything is provided.

Collar, leash, dog bed, crate, food, vet care, etc
