Fostering is the heart of every rescue. A home environment allows dogs to relax, build confidence, and show their true personalities, helping us make the best possible match for adoption.
Every adult dog at Northern Transitional Dog Rescue is professionally behaviorally assessed before adoption, and our foster families provide valuable insight into each dog’s day-to-day temperament and needs.
There is never any pressure to continue fostering if it isn’t the right fit. We will always take our dogs back. Our foster families are an important part of our team, and we’re here to support them every step of the way.
